The fabulous Hotel a La Commedia is
among the finest and most stylish 4 Star hotels
in the city and takes the inspiration for its name from the Goldoni
Theatre just across the street. Every year Venice plays
host to a multitude of international festivals, theatrical events
and Carnivals and Hotel a La Commedia is ideally situated in the
area of San Marco – one of the most vibrant and beautiful
districts in the heart of the city.
From the elegant Campo San Luca at the hotel’s doorstep,
a few minutes walk north takes us to the northern curve of the Grand
Canal and the spectacular Ponte Rialto. A little
further in a south-easterly direction is the famous Piazza
San Marco and Basilica and beyond, the
Palazzo Ducale. To the west is the famous Teatro
Del Fenice, or a short trip across the canal and into the
San Polo area and the church of Santa Maria dei Frari.
