Guests travelling to the Hotel Marconi should ultimately head for
the Rialto water-bus stop. A private taxi can bring you straight
to the hotel entrance, though this is slightly more expensive.
The ‘Alilaguna’ water bus departs every hour from Venice’
Marco Polo airport and takes approximately one hour. At St Mark's
square, visitors can take a taxi or water bus and arrive at Rialto
within a few minutes.
Those arriving by train at Venice Santa Lucia railway station should
take the ‘water-bus numbers 1 or 82 on the San Marco route.
Those travelling by car should head for either the island of Tronchetto
or Piazzale Roma for parking. From either, visitors should again
look to take the water-bus lines 1 or 82, heading to St Mark’s.
From any arrival destination in Venice, visitors also have the
option of using a private water taxi. Therese are considerably faster
and more comfortable, but also considerably more expensive. Visitors
should ascertain the fare prior to setting off. The driver should
