Despite
the old-world grandeur of this stunning
14th century building, located just a short
trip away from the Rialto Bridge and the
heartbeat of the city, the San Cassiano
Hotel is furnished with plenty of modern
comforts to make you feel at home. If Giacomo
Favretto had had such comforts here, he
may not have died of Typhoid at the tender
age of 38.

The Ca’ Favretto San Cassiano offers
three room types: Standard, Superior and
Superior Overlooking the Canal. All rooms
come with private facilities, satellite
TV, comforts such as a towel warmer and
courtesy kit and an elaborate 17th century
style interior design with precious marble
and Murano glass. We also have triple and
quadruple rooms suitable for families and
groups, with cribs supplied free of charge
for families with little people.
Six of our 36 rooms overlook the canal
– they are the jewels in our crown
and the ultimate romantic getaway. Our entire
property was restored to its former glory
under the watchful eye of the Fine Arts
Council of the Municipality of Venice. |

A
rich continental buffet breakfast is served
daily on our breakfast room overlooking
the canal – Italian pastries and the
like but also a token offering of what some
would term ‘a proper breakfast’,
with eggs, cooked ham and sausages from
across the border.

Other services guests can look forward
to include the convenience of laundry and
ironing service, babysitting and concierge
– on hand daily to advise, recommend
and above all, do the donkey work. We can
organise discount parking at Piazzale Roma
in advance if you contact us, as well as
tours of the Murano Glass Factory and entry
into the famous Venice Casino.
