Welcome to the Hotel Santa Chiara Venice, this beautiful hotel resides in the Piazzale Roma area of the city, just by the main railway station. The hotel Chiara is surrounded by some absolutely fabulous panoramas; on one side of the hotel there are fantastic views down the Grand Canal, which incidentally is exactly where the hotel entrance can be found, and on the other side away from the canal there are the Gardens of Papadopoli. The interior rooms have a beautiful view into the hotel courtyard, the aroma of beautiful flowers and plants are excellently complimented by the refreshing sound of running water from the courtyard fountain.

The Santa Chiara hotel comprises of 40 elegantly and traditionally styled Venetian decorated rooms, typical Venetian fashioned attributes like dark timber ceiling beams
And Murano glass chandeliers. The elegant drapery and beautiful wall hangings are mixed with ornate architectural curves, luxurious parquet floors, donned with Venetian styled rugs and coverings.
The hotel building that stands today is 500 years old and first played host to old Santa Chiara monastery, which was in fact much bigger than what remains today. Throughout the centuries the other structures have given way to make the beautiful gardens that stand near by to this unique hotel.
